Background Information
T
he Sports and Goalkeeping School is managed by
international football player and coach Leanne Hall.
As well as representing England at football and still
playing at the highest level the 'A' Licence coach in both outfield and goalkeeping is the highest qualified female and one of the most qualified coaches in the country. Leanne is also Goalkeeping coach to the England Women's Youth Squad.
Having obtained several multi sports qualifications,
the Loughborough University Sports Coaching and
Development graduate Leanne uses her experience and
knowledge to implement and deliver comprehensive
multi sports, Goalkeeping coaching and educational
programmes. These programmes currently develop,
educate and benefit over 20,000 children and adults
in South Yorkshire and goalkeepers throughout England
every year.
The Soccer School was founded in 2004 and in 2006 expanded to a Sports School which has enabled the development of children from all sporting backgrounds whilst meeting the needs of the National Curriculum.
The importance of a healthy lifestyle is also addressed in the form of our Health Programme which will increase the awareness and benefit of sport.
The aims of the Sports School are to:
1) promote a healthy lifestyle
2) improve physical, psychological and social skills
3) increase active participation
4) increase awareness of health-related issues
5) encourage fair play and teamwork

The Sports & Goalkeeping School is comprised of a number of fully qualified coaches with high levels of knowledge and experience and are dedicated to impact the advancement of children through sport. All staff are Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked and First Aid and Child Protection certified.
Sessions are designed to suit the needs of all, from grassroots to elite levels and are structured to ensure learning takes place in a fun, safe and friendly environment.
